Recently, reports surfaced that Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall wants out of Denver.
Twenty months ago, Marshall made his views on the city in which he plays pro football known in a more colorful way.
“I hate this f--king city,” Marshall reportedly told police officers in October 2007 after he was arrested for suspicion of DUI.
“I hate Denver,” Marshall added. “I hope I get traded.”
Marshall also reportedly berated officers for pulling him over instead of investigating other cases.
“Why aren’t you guys out looking for [Darrent] Williams’ killer?” Marshall reportedly said.
Here’s the full report, with all colorful language included.
So at a time when the Broncos flatly have refused to consider the possibility of trading Marshall, the public’s reaction to Marshall’s past comments could, in a strange sort of way, help him get his wish.
