Bears Finish Signing Rookie Draft Class

Chicago Bears negotiator Cliff Stein can take some time off. The senior director of football administration and general counsel has earned it. By signing third-round defensive lineman Jarron Gilbert and third-round wide receiver Juaquin Iglesias to four-year contracts today, the Bears have wrapped up deals with their entire rookie draft class. This is the second time in the past four years that the Bears were the first team to finish signing their draft picks before the other 31 franchises. Gilbert recorded 22 1/2 career sacks, 145 tackles and 15 pass deflections. Iglesias is a two-time All-Big 12 selection who caught 202 career passes for 2,861 yards and 19 touchdowns.
