Bears Should Go Back To The Future To Solve Their Receiving Woes

Now that the Bears have their first franchise quarterback since Luckman, they need their best receiver since Willie Gault. So how about Willie Gault? Sure, he’s 48. But he claims he can still run the 40-yard dash in 4.27 seconds, according to Jonathan Littman of Yahoo! Sports. And Gault covered 100 meters in 10.8 seconds a couple weeks ago. So maybe the Bears should sign him. Obviously, we’re kidding. After all, they’ve got Devin Hester, Devin Aromashodu, Earl Bennett, John Broussard, Rashied Davis, Juaquin Iglesias, Derek Kinder, Johnny Knox, Eric Peterman, and Brandon Rideau. OK, maybe we aren’t kidding.
