Jets Announce The Addition Of 17 Undrafted Rookies

With the exception of a few stray deals that get done between now and the end of June, the 256 players picked last weekend in the NFL draft won’t be under contract. Scores of guys who weren’t drafted, in contrast, already are signed, sealed, and delivered. The Jets announced Friday morning the addition of a whopping 17 undrafted free agents. Several have been previously reported -- and at least one of them arguably had a wink-nod-fart deal in place before the draft even ended. The 17 new Jets are: TE J’Nathan Bullock (Cleveland State), P T.J. Conley (Idaho), S Emanuel Cook (South Carolina), TE/LS Andrew Davie (Arkansas), WR Britt Davis (Northern Illinois), S Keith Fitzhugh (Mississippi State), DT Matt Kroul (Iowa), OL Kyle Link (McNeese State), OT Ryan McKee (So. Mississippi), TE Rob Myers (Utah State), C Michael Parenton (Tulane), QB Chris Pizzotti (Harvard), DE Zach Potter (Nebraska), FB Brannan Southerland (Georgia), DL Ty Steinkuhler (Nebraska), OT Tavita Thompson (Oregon State), and DE Jamaal Westerman (Rutgers).
