The Jacksonville Jaguars have won the AFC South showdown for the services of veteran receiver Torry Holt. According to Michael C. Wright of the Florida Times-Union, the Jags and Holt agreed to a two-year deal. Holt, 32, was a top-ten draft pick in 1999. As Wright points out, the move doesn’t rule out receiver for the Jaguars’ first-round pick, the eighth overall in the entire draft. The Titans also pursued Holt after he was cut last month by the Rams.
