Ravens In Play For Boldin

ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio recently pegged the Ravens as one of the teams interested in acquiring receiver Anquan Boldin from the Cardinals. According to Jamison Hensley of the Baltimore Sun, the Ravens indeed are one of the teams with interest in Boldin. Officially, G.M. Ozzie Newsome sidestepped the issue on Thursday: “With the draft coming up, I’ve had a chance to talk to eight different teams over the past 48 hours.” Per Paolantonio, it’ll take at least a first-round pick and a third-round pick to land Boldin. It’ll likely also take a financial commitment in the range of $8 million to $9 million per year. Our only hope is that, if the Ravens get Boldin, the move happens after I get my family a safe distance from Philadelphia.
