BERRIAN IN, JACOBS OUT FOR GIANTS-VIKINGS

John Clayton of ESPN reports that Vikings receiver Bernard Berrian is “100 percent” and will play in Sunday’s “win-and-you’re-in” game against the defending Super Bowl champs and the No. 1 seed in the 2008 NFC playoff field. Berrian had been listed as questionable with an ankle injury. But Clayton also reports that Giants running back Brandon Jacobs, who played effectively last Sunday night against the Panthers, most likely won’t play. Per Clayton, coach Tom Coughlin plans to rest his injured players for what amounts to a meaningless game for the Giants.
