CAROLINA PUTS KEYDRICK ON IR

A day before the Panthers prepare to storm the Meadowlands for the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoff field, they’ve placed a 14-game starter on injured reserve. Gone for the year is right guard Keydrick Vincent, who joined the Panthers prior to the 2008 campaign. Vincent had been listed as out with a groin injury. Per the Rock Hill Herald, he is expected to be replaced by Jeremy Bridges, who was arrested less than two weeks ago. To take Vincent’s place on the roster, the Panthers promoted defensive tackle Nick Hayden from the practice squad. Starter Ma’ake Kemoeatu is questionable with an ankle injury.
