Twenty-five years after the Vikings were burned in the Metrodome by Tony Dorsett of the Cowboys for a 99-yard run, the home team partially exorcised that demon with a 99-yard pass play from Gus Frerotte to Bernard Berrian.

The score came on the first play after the Vikings stuffed the Bears at the goal line on fourth down.

Per NBC, it’s the 11th 99-yard touchdown pass in NFL history.

There’s been only one 99-yard run — and the Cowboys did it with only ten men on the field.

Vikes lead, 10-7.
