How important is the availability of defensive tackles Pat and Kevin Williams to the Minnesota Vikings?
Sufficiently important to prompt owner Zygi Wilf to personally attend their appeal hearings regarding four-game suspensions for violating the league’s policy regarding steroids and related substances.
The suspensions arose from positive tests for the banned substance Bumetanide, a prescription medication that allegedly had been added to StarCaps, a supposedly all-natural weight loss product.
Separate hearings were held for the two players, probably because they have separate representation. The hearings consumed the full day on Thursday, two days after the combined hearing on similar appeals of three Saints players lasted until midnight.
Falcons defensive tackle Grady Jackson was scheduled to present his own appeal on Friday.

Goodell has made it clear that no Viking will be suspended no matter what rule or law they have broken. The 2 Williams sisters will not be suspended while everyone else involved with the Star Caps thing will.

Must be how Goodell gets his extra Christmas bonus money from the owners, one owner at a time. For a little under the table the players avoid suspension.
HOWEVER, in the Star Cap cases the NFL would be wise to not suspend or fine the named players more than $500 each. The NFL clearly messed up on this one.

I do think any player involved in any pill type activity should sue the NFL if they are fined or suspended using the “nothing happened to Kaczur” as the grounds for their law suit.
Goodell has turned into a complete joke due to his inconsistent rulings.

If the NFL knew that starcaps had the banned substance, odds are so did the players. Sales guys gave them their defense. Set the rules and follow them. Ignorance is no excuse.

Venus and Serena have no case in their appeal. It’s spelled out pretty clearly. If it’s not on the NFL’s list of safe supplements, you are on your own and responsible for every supplement you put in your body. Given that the NFL tested the substance itself and didn’t put in on the “safe” list should be enough knowledge for these clowns to not take them. Ignorance is no excuse….unless your Pac Man Jones.

Ignorance is no excuse is right. But ignorance appears to be a pre qualification to be a Viking or coach the Vikings.
I personally don’t care one way or the other but there is a dream scenario here where the fat Williams are suspended, Ziggy has to make a concession to the fact that they were and Childress keeps his job for another year.
A guy can dream, can’t he?

LOL.. The Williams sisters huh? They sure didn’t have any problems blowing through that pussy ass OL of yours did they? 2 safeties, 4-5 sacks, and manhandled Rodgers, and your entire OL..
So if they are the Williams sisters, maybe you should have had Barnett play on your OL since he likes to beat on women.. Oh that’s right, he was to busy nursing injuries on the sideline, and the rest of the year..
You Packer fans should talk, your team has gotten away with everything the last 10 years.. You want some Wisconsin cheese with your bitch ass wine?

The reason the sisters dominated is because they were PMS’ing, the following week when they were done PMS’ing they were dominated.

based on what i have read on thie heah site, it sounds a little up in the air. it wouldnt be the best set of cases to pursue suspensions on imho.
the saints probly wont make the playoffs and deuce is fading anyway. i dont think it will matter much to them.
minnehaha will go down quick without venus and serena. 6-10. without them they would lose to detroit. (or basically land where they would have if they had kept t-jack at starting qb!)
detroit… 1* - 15 ?

1) Wilf has actually seen in public.
2) It is unusual that Wilf has shown this much interest in the team he partially owns. He spends less than 25 days a year in Minnesota an can be characterized as an absentee owner.
3) He has very little influence as an owner and doesn’t do much for the league in committee work or conferences. Just because he is fat doesn’t mean he has any wieght to throw around.
4) This non Christian owner hasn’t cleaned up this franchise since his group purchased this team. The Lake Minnetonka Criminal Cruise, lewd public sex acts by players in downtown Minneapolis, to the drug scandels, players connections with organized crime, child abuse, brawls in the locker room among players, to winning the NFC in Turd Watch, all has occurred during his immoral ownership.
5) This rare public appearance isn’t a sign of panic, it is a sign of his support for continued law breaking by viking players. His players get the message. So the substance abuse and cheapshots on other teams players will continue.

Immoral ownership? That’s just nuts. Try practicing separation of church and football please.
