Browns tight end Kellen Winslow, who has been able to play for several consecutive weeks without sustaining any injuries (or swelling), could miss time with a shoulder injury that he suffered on Monday night in Buffalo.
The incident occurred on the game-winning drive, during which he was tackled by the bench after making a 16-yard catch.
Winslow will have an MRI to gauge the extent of the damage.
“We’ll check him out and see if he’ll be able to do much this week,” coach Romeo Crennel said.

That was a huge catch by Kellen last night. He did not come through against Denver with the fumble and silly penalty and late drop, but we don’t win last night without that great shoestring catch.
Jerome Harrison also got dinged up last night, as did Sean Jones, Shaun Rogers, and Jason Wright. No word on the extent of the injuries, but hopefully all are okay for Sunday.

Ballsy dude. Can’t believe he’s going anywhere near a medical facility. K2, bring the disinfectant!

I’m sorry to hear that he got hurt. Seriously. Because between the motorcycle
accident and the injuries, we’re never gonna know how good he could have been.
But to me, the injuries are symptomatic of his never-miss piss-poor attitude. K2,
indeed.
And the next time you have swollen gonads, have your PR people or daddy
release a statement that says, “K2 has swollen gonads”. That way, the
Cleveland Browns don’t have to cover for you, get involved, get blamed…

For a young guy he seems to get hurt a lot. Despite the talent I think the Browns would be smart to cut ties whenever his contract expires.

The Jimmy is right: the Browns would be smart to cut ties with K2. Question
then becomes, who would sign him and what would he want?
Answer: Al Davis and a ton of money.
He’s more of a “me” guy than T.O. without any of the production. I’ve seen
interviews of Winslow, Sr and he’s an enabler. K2’s been more mouth than
numbers for most of his career; looks good in the gym, on paper, violates
his contract and rides a motorcycle. And crashed his knee, one two he
needed to be as good as he is in his own mind. PERFECT for the Al Davis Scholarship
program.

teddybear, if by “T.O. without any of the production” you mean 171 catches in the last two years (T.O. had 166), then I guess you’re right. I may be wrong, but I believe that’s the second most catches over the past two years for a TE behind Tony Gonzalez.
Look, I’m not saying the guy is better than T.O., but when healthy he’s a top 5 TE. The Browns would be smart to keep him for a few more years until his knees finally give out (due to his motorcycle accident). A good TE is much more important in a Quinn led short pass offense than it was in an Anderson led deep ball offense.
