We’re told that the Park Avenue appeal hearing involving the four-game suspensions of Saints running back Deuce McAllister and defensive ends Charles Grant and Will Smith has not yet concluded.

It’s unclear whether the hearing is still in progress as of this posting, or whether it has adjourned until Wednesday.

The duration of the hearing suggests that the players are pulling out all the stops in an effort to avoid being required to miss four games without pay.

The hearing involving Vikings defensive tackles Kevin and Pat Williams is scheduled for Thursday; Falcons defensive tackle Grady Jackson’s appeal hearing is set for Friday.
