Browns backup RB Jerome Harrison made the most of his limited chances, scoring on a 72-yard touchdown run and making a key 21-yard catch along the sideline that set up a Cleveland field goal.
Said Browns WR Braylon Edwards, “We got tired of what happened the previous two weeks, getting a lead and losing it in the fourth quarter. As a team, we rallied. We came together when we were supposed to and made the plays necessary to win.”
“Braylon did a good job,” TE Kellen Winslow said. “I’ve got to look at the film, but obviously he made some plays for us. That’s what we ask him to do. That’s what we ask everybody to do.”
Browns CB Brandon McDonald was benched for one play, but made an impact later.
Browns K Phil Dawson made a career-long 56-yard field goal to give the Browns the winning margin of 29-27.
Browns DE Corey Williams is playing through shoulder pain.
Bills fans don’t want to see the words wide right from 47 yards.
The first seven passes thrown by Bills QB Trent Edwards were caught; unfortunately for the Bills, three of them were caught by the Browns.
After a big start to the season, Edwards is regressing.
Bills RB Fred Jackson ripped off runs of 19 and 17 yards on draw plays out of the shotgun.

Good to finally see the Browns finally play a full game. Braylon must have got them all 5 Hour Energy before the game.
By the way, I nominate that for most awkward commercial ever. Seriously… you edited it down to that? I’d hate to see the outakes.

Looks like Jamal Lewis is done as featured back. The Brown line seemed to give him plenty of space to bounce to the outside, but he doesn’t have the speed anymore.
If Marshawn Lynch had that room last night he could have had 150+ yrds easy.

Last night was Brady Quinn’s breakout game. If it was any indication, he is going to be an above-average quarterback.

Which Edwards is a bigger disappointment this year? Trent or Braylon?

As a browns fan, that was an ugly win, but at least it was a win. @ titans fan…i think the 5 hour energy is what’s hurting braylon. think about it, he pimps it and has the dropsies. osi u. pimps it and he blew out his knee. that stuffs like the madden curse or something. braylon, please put down the 5 hour energy…or at least stop drinking it 6 hours before the game.

Jerome Harrison has been unreal this year with the few times he has touched the ball. If I were him, I would be so frustrated at this point. I just don’t understand why he only gets it 4-5 times a game max. The guy makes plays every time he touches the ball.
And how about Phil Dawson!
5-5 and a 56 yarder! I swear his leg is 3-5 yards stronger this year. Is anyone else noticing that? He may be the only Browns with any prayer of a Pro Bowl or All Pro appearance.
All in all, an ugly win for the Browns — but who cares, it’s a win. At least we’re showing up and producing results on Monday night! Now we just need to carry that over to Sundays…

BRAYLON
EDWARDS
IS
WORTHLESS
People talking down on Brady are laughable. If the Browns defense didn’t put their skirts last week on halftime he would be 2-0.
AND IF THAT PILE OF GARBAGE BRAYLON EDWARDS WOULD CATCH A PASS BRADY MIGHT LOOK BETTER.

——————————————
Let’s see, 14 out of 36, a whopping 5 yards per attempt, not to mention throwing what should’ve been the game-choking pick, only to be bailed out by the Buffalo DB’s butterfingers.
You sure do have high standards.

Let’s see, if it weren’t for Braylon dropping every other pass thrown to him, Quinn’s stats would be a bit better. The point of the matter is that he got his team in position to win the game.
And so what if a DB jumped a route and dropped the ball, that’s not Brady’s fault at all.
You sure do have fantastic logic.

Burns: He got them to FG range, and got them in position to get the W. That is all that counts.
The game is not just about numbers.

I was perplexed as to why the Bills just gave up on their last drive. They got that long completion down the middle on the first play, and I thought, surely they’ll try to get a little closer. But no, they just run it three times. They should know that 47 yard field goals in any stadium aren’t gimmes.

LOL. Only a Browns fan coming from a culture of losing would call that shaky performance by Quinn a “breakout game”. He hould’ve been picked twice last night.
Seriously…..14 of 36 for 185 yards and no TD’s is a “breakout game”?

I’m laughing with you, Captain. Quinn showed the dink-dunk-and-duck
style that will get Brownie fans bragging about his high completion percentage. Although, 14 for 36, hmmmmm….
They’ll be whining for Anderson to come back in a few weeks.

I can’t believe how excited some dweebs are getting over Quinn.
Seriously, how many sure picks did Buffalo drop of his? At least two.
Including one late in the game that should’ve ended it right there.
Why is nobody talking about this? Only a butterfingered Buffalo DB prevented Quinn from choking away that game. Please, let’s get some reality in here.

No they won’t Burns. Anderson would have had 5 INTs last night had he played. The O-Line played their worst game of the year. Anderson used to have forever to stand in the pocket and he’d still throw picks. Quinn has to play a lot better, no doubt. But he’s clearly better than Anderson.

I saw 2 passes that BQ threw that could have been intercepted. The one in the flat where the DB jumped the route was a bad decision by BQ and an almost great play by the DB. The other pass that was almost intercepted was because a defensive lineman was hitting his arm as he released the ball which caused it to fly straight up into the air. How can BQ be blamed for that? He wasn’t holding the ball an extraordinarily long amount of time. He can’t be expected to throw the ball and block defenders at the same time.
While I definetly wouldn’t call that game a breakout game, there were alot of good things that BQ did last nite. I hate to judge his performance based on a comparison with DA because DA just plain sucks but, he shows alot more poise, accuracy, leadership, mobility and touch than DA. The only thing DA is better at is the long ball. That one pass to Harrison was an awesome touch pass with the perfect amount of lead; there’s no way in hell DA makes that throw. And, if Edwards could catch balls that hit him right in the damn hands, I’m sure BQ’s completion % would have been much better. I also saw alot of non-calls that could have easily been called pass interference last nite.
On another note, I can’t believe Crennel actually did something smart last nite. He saw how much his defense sucked so, he actually started calling timeouts to give the Browns an opportunity to score if Buffalo had made that FG. AMAZING! Now, if the same person that whispered that idea into his fat head can also tell him to play Harrison more, the Browns might actually win a few more games before season’s end.

The Browns are not a good football team.
The Bills are not a good football team.
Lets see… 4 turnovers for the bills, terrible play calling at crucial moments and missed opportunities (dropped interceptions, WIDE RIGHT), and the browns still had to get lucky to win. A decent team would have blown the bills out last night. Lucky for the Browns the only thing worse than their defense was Trent Edwards. Receivers were open all night- he just could not get them the ball to nobodys fault but his own. TERRIBLE kick coverage. Snce I hate Cleveland and Notre Dame, I sure hope this is Quinns breakout game because he was no goodm and stop blaming it all on Braylon. Is he the only receiver on the field?
