Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio made like Stuart Smalley when describing his 3-3 team: “We know what we are. We like who we are. We’ll continue to work on being better at being who we are.”
Jacksonville’s win was fueled by forcing three turnovers.
Broncos LB Jamie Winborn, who benefited from a bad call three weeks ago when he lined up offside on a key third-down play by the Saints, will likely be making a donation to the Human Fund for this statement about a pass interference call: “That call was a killer. It was a terrible, terrible call, but still we had a chance to stop them.”
Said Broncos coach Mike Shanahan of the disputed interference call: “I’d bet a dollar to doughnuts that it wasn’t.”
Said Broncos CB Dre’ Bly: “The first couple of games, I guess they’ve been evaluating us and saying we won games we shouldn’t have won. So I guess they’re going to get a call against us.”
WR Jerry Porter played “sparingly” for the Jags, and didn’t have a reception.
A 69-yard pass to a guy who has trouble holding the ball was wiped out by a holding penalty.
The Jags weren’t fazed by the 40-degree temperatures.
Woody Paige thinks that Broncos QB Jay Cutler should be panicking.
Michael Pittman became the first Broncos back to rush for more than 100 yards this year.
