We haven’t been plugging CFT as much lately as we were earlier in the season, primarily because CFT is doing a pretty good job of building an audience without the extra help from its sister site. In September, CFT had more than 100,000 unique visitors for the first time ever.
And those of you who have made CFT a regular stop on your Internet surfing routine likely have noticed that there’s an ever-growing amount of content on our college site, thanks to the tireless efforts of MDS.
His latest item features a funny story about former Jets coach (we needed to find a way to make it relevant to pro football) Lou Holtz, who went bonkos at the end of one of those goofy ESPN segments in which the media types pretend to be lawyers. (It’s nearly as annoying as when lawyers pretend to be media types.) Holtz, who apparently lost the debate between whether Colt McCoy of Texas is a better quarterback than Tim Tebow of Florida, continued to make his case at a time when he thought the cameras were off.
MDS has the story and the video of our favorite “thufferin’ thuccotash” broadcaster saying words other that “thufferin’” or “thuccotash.”

That’s an ESPN Instant Classic right there.
Lou Holtz might be a cranky old man, but he has passion for football.

Listening to Lou Holtz is like trying to understand a kid when he’s eating his pizza at Chucky Cheese.

That’s funny but for once I agree with the guy… even though I truly believe Tebow will be a total nobody in the NFL when it’s all said and done.

Holtz is right on.the money. 3 of Tebow’s TD passes were balls that should’ve been picked off, but the DBs tipped them up and Harvin took them to the house. Tebow’s passing is highly overrated & he will get rocked if he tries to run in the pros.

I usually don’t watch that fabricated lawyer crap on ESPN, not to be confused with the other useless crap they show, but I did see that whole Holtz segment live. My jaw not only hit the floor because of the stupidity of the segment, but it also hit the floor because of how serious Holtz took it.

Who really gives a damn? Its a mans game and sometimes arguements about the sport get heated if your worried about language why don’t you blur out every quarterback and coaches reaction to turnovers I could count at least four curse bombs dropped by eli on mnf ha get over it…let the guy speak his mind at 1am I’d rather him speak his mind than sound like the cartoon he normally does
