A couple of readers have pointed out to us that the official online roster of the Buffalo Bills doesn’t include running back Fred Jackson.
Jackson also doesn’t show up on the depth chart.
We’re trying to find out what Jackson’s status currently is. Some are speculating that he has been traded, possibly as part of a package that would send him to the Chiefs for tight end Tony Gonzalez.

Some people have said that they heard it reported on Sirius radio that a source close to the Chiefs told them Gonzo has been dealt and it will be announced before Tuesday. They did not know to which team, but speculated it was Buffalo.
THey also thought a 3rd round pick was involved.

It makes sense that the Bills traded for Gonzo since Statler and Waldorf run the front office.
