The Saints blasted the Raiders, 34-3, only six days after New Orleans lost a heartbreaker at home to the Vikings.
Drew Brees completed 26 of 30 passes for 320 yards and three scores. Reggie Bush had two touchdowns, but mustered only 75 all-purpose yards, including 27 yards rushing on 14 carries.
The Saints outgained the Raiders, 441 to 226.
The win moves New Orleans to .500, at 3-3.

What a joke, the Raiders need to clean house, Cable has only coached one game and it’s obvisous he has lost his players due to the Kiffin firing. This team was playing hard under Kiffin they will not put their hearts into this season anymore.

Come on Faider fans. Remind us again how it was all Lane’s fault. Tell us about how he was trying to get himself fired in the Buffalo game. Tell us how he was “sabotaging” JaMarcus Russell. Why don’t you listen to your current and former players. John Madden could coach this team and they’d be 3-13. You have many problems that go WAY beyond who the head coach is. Just lose, baby!

Come On Florio, everybody KNOWS that you obviously don’t like Bush, but give him a break! He scored 2 TD’s today and you still find a way to make it look like he had a bad game! Did you even see his Rec-TD? How many players in this league can make two guys miss like that? Any other player in this position would have gotten the first down, which is fine… but he makes two miss and scores a TD… only because he is NOT an every down back doesn’t make him a bad running back! At least try to be more objective when it comes to Bush!

Who gives a shit if Reggie had 5 rushing yards on 30 carries? He scored two touchdowns.
I was as critical of him as anybody when he was playing poorly the past couple of years, but give him his due. He has improved significantly from last year, he’s fitting in better with the Saints’ offense, and he’s scored 4 TDs in the past two games.
The last time I checked, football games are won and lost based on the scoreboard, not Reggie Bush’s YPC.

Reggie Bush - 8 total TDs
Only Ronnie Brown has as many TDs. Every other non-QB has fewer.
All the other RBs can have the yards, I’ll take the points. I think Florio had Reggie on his FF team last year and got pissed.

Sure BUsh is not a north - south runner but any of you people on here would love to have him on your team scoring TD’s. Especially the Raiders!. McAllister is our up the gut back where Bush is a complement to him. HAte all you want but I will keep watching him make exciting plays and scoring touchdowns!

Bush has redefined his position, so you have to redefine your analysis. Most of his receptions are just long hand-offs, so factor them in and he is averaging almost 6 yards per rush/reception in his career. And, he is on pace for over 1,600 yards and 14 TDs rushing/receiving this year. That excludes his performance and TDs as the leagues most dangerous special teams player. He should gain All Pro consideration this season and is on track for +10,000 combined rushing/receiving yards and +100 TDs - Hall of Fame #s. He is the league’s most dangerous offensive player and has a shot to get into the MVP race this season.
