The Green Bay Packers have lost a running back and activated one from their practice squad.
A league source tells PFT that Packers running back Kregg Lumpkin will miss the rest of the season. Lumpkin has been out since Week 3 with a hamstring injury, although he was listed as questionable on this week’s injury report. It’s not clear what happened to set Lumpkin back.
To take Lumpkin’s place on the roster, the Packers have activated running back DeShawn Wynn from the practice squad. Last season Wynn showed promise, playing seven games for the Packers and starting four, and gaining 203 yards on 50 carries.
Lumpkin, a rookie out of Georgia, has played in two games, with one carry for 19 yards and three catches for 22 yards.

Lumpkin and Wynn are exact mirror opposites of each other. Lumpkin is a try hard guy. He has skills, but he’s unheralded. Wynn has all the skills in the world, but he’s not big on the whole “try hard” thing. He strains his vagina every game and takes himself out. Won’t play with a hangnail.
The plan with Wynn is for Coach Edgar Bennett to be in his ear, and maybe he’ll go through puberty. If Wynn ever becomes a man, look out!
Lumpkin will be back, possibly at FB.
Man, the Packers are getting KILLED with injuries. KILLED. I still think they’ll recover, though. We’ll make the playoffs.

yeah that was a suprise, Pumpkin was fun to watch when he played. Wynn’s gotta know that this is his last chance, and as you said nerdmann, he has all the skills; good footwork the primary one. this is dissapointing, I hope Pumpkin can pull it out next training camp, but I assume the Packers will draft a HB next draft, so this might be the end for Pumpkin.

Lumpkin did good with his few chances he got. He runs hard and can usually find some daylight, even if there aren’t many good options or holes to run through.
Packers have the worst 4 RBs in the league. The worst interior linemen. The worst defensive linemen, and the most banged up secondary.

Thompson the GM is an idiot!! How good would Mike Turner look in a Packer uniform right now? Besides that he convinced Brett to retire so he can have his own croonies that he drafted on the team to feed his fricken ego!! Farve hated him for that. So to screw with him he wanted to come back and you know the rest of the story. We miss Ya Brett.

Pack fans are the biggest whiners. Your injuries are NOTHING compared to a lot of other teams in the NFL.
