Browns tight end Kellen Winslow spent the night at the Cleveland Clinic with an undisclosed illness, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Winslow is expected to be released on Friday, and he is listed as questionable for Monday night’s game against the Giants.
“We know that he’ll be out there if at all possible,” said coach Romeo Crennel.
Crennel wouldn’t discuss the illness, pursuant to privacy laws. Given that there’s still a 50-50 a chance he’ll play a pro football game on Monday night, our guess is that the condition isn’t a serious one.

He would be well advised not to touch anything or breathe the air.

Ha. On the ESPN crawl it flashes “Kellen Winslow expected to be released” and after a few seconds flashes “from the hospital… “. Nice work ESPN.
Odds that it’s a staph infection? 2:1.
