Bills quarterback Trent Edwards suffered a concussion in the first half of his team’s game against the Cardinals.
Edwards was carted off and won’t return.
In his place is J. P. Losman, who lost the starting job last after catching a flying elbow from Vince Wilfork of the Pats.
The Bills trail the Cards at halftime by ten, 24-14.

I guess all the Bills fans who lamented Losman’s injury last year are finally getting their wish. Good for them!

Nothing like a “dirty play from a Patriots player” reference.

I love my Bills, but this team is not much better than anything else they’ve put out there lately.
4-1 and a bye week gives them time to figure things out, but what a disappointment today.

Ummm I missed the dirty Pats play reference. Did this story get edited or something? Where’s the damn reference?

The injury to Losman last year (referenced in the first comment) was a seemingly dirty play by Vince Wilfork, where he appeared to intentionally throw his elbow at Losman’s knee while falling to the ground.
I don’t think a penalty was called on the play itself, but Wilfork was fined for it. It forced Edwards into the lineup where he and Losman traded spots for a little bit, but Edwards has taken control of things since late last season.

There is always some nit wit making a snide remark against the Patriots when the article has nothing to with the New England Patriots.

Oh I’m familiar with the play but it seems like Billknapp referenced it first, not Florio

That’s pretty harsh on Florio, don’t you think?
Don’t tell me Bills fans are still upset about this? I thought Wilfork would have been sent flowers by most Bills fans, pleased to have Edwrds rather than Losman. After all, one tends to have a tough time finding a Patriots fan who holds a grudge against Mo Lewis.

Harsh on Florio? No, not in this thread. It was Billknapp who made the “dirty play from a Patriots player” remark. Florio would not stoop to that kind of remark towards a player. Only some toothless hillbilly with a buck tooth wife, who is his sister would make a remark like that.
Common sense just flew out the window with the pet chickens.
