San Diego receiver Chris Chambers, who has been having a great year in his first full season with the Chargers, has been carted off during his return visit to Miami, where he spent the first eight-plus years of his career.
And the news doesn’t get much better for the Chargers. Trailing by seven, they were stopped at the goal line.
The Dolphins have crossed midfield after a disputable pass interference call on a third-down play from their own two.

The ball may have been uncatchable but Hart was wrapped around Martin and absolutely deserved to be flagged.

I sat here patiently getting my fins bashed the other day, I did not say a word, how the mighty Bolts were going to creme the Fins…..In my heart , I felt we had a real good chance to beat the bolts, and guess what?? it happened!!! I dont want to hear the B.S. of trick high school plays…..they pretty much worked most of the day!! maybe not for touch downs but they worked……whats the excuse now????? the fins are nowhere near super bowl contenders, but the sure arent the 07 1-15 team!!! they will catch alot of teams this year by surprise!!!!! GO Fins!!!!!

Florio you are a piece of work. You say that the flag was “after a disputable pass interference call”. All of the refs gathered and decided that the flag was a good call. Even Steve Tasker, one of the most anti Fins announcers around, agreed with the call. I guess you didn’t see or want to dispute the sucky hit that the fins receiver took on a un-catchable throw! You know, the one Cromartie made on Camerillo! Should be a flag there yet YOU choose not to mention that one. Your bias becomes more and more evident every day. The Fins will get better so I guess you just need to get over it!
Panhandle FinFan!

I think he’s just bitter about picking them to go to the Superbowl last year.

Or was it the year before? Either way, a bad call has soured him on the Fins, methinks.

eh i thought it was PI on hart
either way, chargers played like crap again
i’ve gotten used to them playing like crap in sept/oct and showing up in november /dec (and choking in january)
hopefully they can continue that trend this year, without the january choke

Still no word on Chambers, may be just an ankle sprain as previously reported on the Charger boards or something worse…….
The Dolphins pretty much laid the blueprint for beating the Chargers. Run it up the gut and utilize the tight end. Two things the Bolts can’t seem to stop. Oh well, I’m slowly preparing for an 8-8 season. The Chargers can’t do this every season, start out slow and come roaring back. Good win by the Phins. Keep it up, Parcells knows how to turn teams around before he skips town in 3-4 years.

did anyone else notice the fins offense not getting flagged
5 or 6 times? I’m not saying it was all bad.
the Fins played good defense in the secondary.
about 6 passes that were defended well

superduperboltman - both teams have incidental stuff in the trenches that do not get called… Porter was face-masked twice in the first drive, the cameras even got it, replays were shown, it was never called either time. it happens both ways.
the play in question here, Martin is a jumper…. We can’t equivocally say either way if that ball was catchable or not as Hart had Martin pulled down by his arm to the ground, literally. Martin wasn’t even allowed to jump. you could make a case either way, but honestly, if the defender PULLS the receiver down before the ball gets there, its PI dude. sorry.
