The lawyer who represented Hall of Fame/Walk of Shame running back O. J. Simpson in his most recent criminal trial believes that the jury who convicted Simpson had an agenda.
“This was just payback,” Yale Galanter said Saturday. “They were on an agenda.”
The “agenda” was, of course, righting the perceived wrong that was done 13 years ago to the day, when Simpson walked away from murder charges despite what seemed to be overwhelming evidence that O. J. had killed his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman.
But if Simpson were smart, he would have factored that possibility into everything he thereafter did, and he would have acted accordingly.
Instead, Simpson has been convicted of kidnapping, armed robbery, and 10 other charges.

Of course the jurors had an agenda! Holy frickin Jeebus OJ, how many turdish acts did you think you could get away with before you got caught? You gotta be dumber than a bag full of yak sheot to try to get away with anything in a casino hotel, they have cameras eeeeeverywhere.

Even if they did have an agenda I could care less. They righted a wrong, good for them.
Lets hope he gets the maximum.

OJ’s lawyer might also be interested to know of an amazing coincidence in which a jury who let a Murderer walk free for more than a decade ALSO had an agenda.

What a surprise to hear the defense yell foul on this huh? It will only become true justice when they sentence Simpson to jail for life…and then lock him away…Simpson got away with murder because he was in LA…Mike Tyson got convicted, in part, because he raped a woman in the mid-west…just my opinion.

I didn’t follow this trial, but it sure sounds like they had OJ nailed on camera doing dirty deeds this time around. It’ll stand on those grounds alone. Everyone would be wise to keep these affairs very separate.
Grulks, if you’re following this thread, hope you got my apology.

LOL @ you idiots. Why do you think he pulled this stunt (and many others) in the 1st place? OJ WANTED to go to jail. He said it himself. He did kill his wife (and a not so innocent bystander) and spent the last 13 years thinking about it with the utmost guilt…but also leaving free and abusing ecstasy and coke and running from the mob. Now he gets to go away and spend the rest of his life in prison in relative peace where he will be looked at as a hero. He doesn’t give a shit….he’s old now.

I ‘d have to say you nailed that one Axel. He’s been on a classic self destruct pattern for some time now, with the drug and alcohol abuse a sympton imho. Being found not guilty with Nicole and that dude just enabled him. Once again, some individuals in the government trying to manipulate circumstances. Like that’s never happened before. However that time it didn’t work. This time, the glove fits (chuckle). O. J. did it to himself folks. End of story. He can spend the rest of his days with Bubba the Love Sponge.

Totally nailed that one Mike F. I like totally agree. Courts and the jury of public opinion do factor in past ‘brushes’ with the law. Without knowing any details of the trial, OJ just putting himself in that situation showed terrible judgement and lack of gratitude that he dodged a bullet in the murder trial. What goes around…

It’s funny how a lot of comments claim there’s no agenda against OJ and the next few words off their keyboards is something pertaining to a 10 year old trial where the guy was ACQUITTED.
Going into a room to get things back that are clearly yours and were stolen from you is not worth 10 years of your lives.
Who here with a pair would not have done the same thing OJ did for THEIR stuff?

unfortunately for OJ, he doesn’t recieve future immunity because any reasonable juryman would want to convict for a previous incident. if i was on the jury I would have voted to convict.

Bleeds Colts Blue:
First off, NO, I wouldnt go and steal something that I HIRED SOMEONE TO STEAL FROM ME in the first place to avoid said items bein sold and the profits going to a family who won a LEGAL judgment against me.
SECOND, I wouldnt bring a gun to this particular event knowing my history with the police if I was OJ.
THIRD, I would pat EVERYONE DOWN TO MAKE SURE THEY DIDNT HAVE MICROPHONE STRAPPED TO THEIR CHEST (same reason as #2)
FOURTH: I wouldnt expect the MOST HIGH PROFILE CLIENT IN THE 20th CENTURY to get a fair trial and then have said clients lawyer say he got “jobbed” for previous crimes that, even though he got acquitted on, he was guilty as sin, to GET a fair trial. Even his Lawyer could be seen during the verdict giving a brief “fist pump”.
I got all the nuts in the world, and I will call your “poor OJ” post out. Even the people who were saying he was innocent 13 years ago agree hes a douche and deserves it.
Is it fair that he got a raw deal due to a previous crime? NO. Is it a justice for a BAD MEDIA ENABLED verdict 13 years ago?
YOUR ABSOLUTELY RIGHT IT IS.

Yes I guess they did have an agenda. Most of America wanted
O.J. in jail…so I guess this is poetic justice. However
it kind of bothers me that witnesses with criminal records,
who get TV and book deals, cop a plea with the D.A. would
be considered credible. Even though there was testimony from
credible witnesses indicating that O.J. never asked for guns
to be brought and was not aware of guns being present. The
investigators in the case were recorded saying they wanted
to get O.J. The criminal justice system does not look good
with this conviction even though they caught a guy who was
guilty of a previous crime.
