The Chargers weren’t as troubled as they might have been by the season-ending knee injury to linebacker Shawne Merriman because the team is very high on his replacement, Jyles Tucker.
They might now have to make it without Tucker, at least for this week.
Tucker hasn’t practiced on Wednesday or Thursday due to a hamstring injury. It’s unknown at this point whether he’ll play on Sunday when the Chargers travel to Miami.

funny i dont think i will be picking san dee to cover all of a sudden.
but… the charges, raiders, broncos (and seahawks) histotrically dont do well when going down to miamuh…
even the sb bound raiduhs lost down there. back when all those sayings (pride and poise, commitment to excellence, etc) “meant something”.

well, hopefully he will be ok, Marques Harris did a good job last week, and maybe Wilhelm, since he kinda sucks in coverage, can blitz since cooper is back….

Miami wins this weekend. Chargers are playing too loosely, too careless. Miami has had two weeks to prepare.
At the very least SD doesn’t cover.

yeah i’m leaning toward taking miami and the 7.5
it’s very hard for miami to win games (2 outta their last 19) but pennington seems to own sd, and miami’s at home with a good running game.

Marques Harris has been a phenomenal OLB for years. Frankly, I’m surprised Tucker is starting in front of him. San Diego will be fine.
