Cowboys practice squad wide receiver Mike Jefferson has been suspended four games for violating the league’s policy on anabolic steroids and related substances, the Dallas Morning News is reporting.
The Star-Telegram reports that Jefferson is suspended for taking a banned supplement.
Jefferson has not yet played in a game for the Cowboys, although he was on the active roster for the season opener. After that he was waived and then re-signed to the practice squad, where he’s been since then.
Jefferson signed with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent from Montana State and spent last season on the practice squad. He spent the first three years of his college career at Arizona but transferred for his senior season in an effort to get more playing time.

What a group of “players” they got there in Dallas. Although this guy will never see the field, he did keep an honest, hardworking player from making the team and possibly receiving an NFL pension. In other news, can’t wait to see how long until T.O. explodes on “his quarterback”. What a joke Dallas is.
