Though Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth hasn’t been arrested (or, you know, shredded anyone’s face with his shoe), he hasn’t stayed out of all trouble as he tries to get himself a huge money long-term deal.
As it turns out, Haynesworth was pulled over in March for allegedly driving his Escalade 103 miles per hour in a 70-mph zone.
He was attempting to discreetly appear in court on Tuesday in connection with the ticket. Per TMZ.com, media who were assembled in a Tennessee courthouse to cover country singer Mindy McCready turning herself in spotted Haynesworth, whose hearing was continued until November.
But while we weren’t previously aware of the situation, a quick Google search showed that ticket had been previously reported by the Nashville media.
The incident occurred on March 4. Because Haynesworth allegedly was exceeding 100 miles per hour, he faces a jail stay equivalent to the amount of time necessary for him to cover 4,800 miles.

Even as a Jaguar fan, I have to say this is one of the weaker stories Florio bothers with.
Seriously, Florio—-speeding tickets?

I was sure this story (keeping his nose clean) would be about Haynesworth getting busted with coke.

Like this is news. Who doesn’t go 100 in their Escalade? I’ve never seen an Escalade on the interstate going less than 100.

“According to the ticket, a background check showed three previous speeding citations for Haynesworth with the most recent on April 5, 2006.”
OMG - Habitual criminal! Time to start docking draft picks…

“he faces a jail stay equivalent to the amount of time necessary for him to cover 4,800 miles”
so does that mean the faster you go, the less jail time you get?

wow, this is getting retarded.
In just about every topic there is someone who has nothing better to do then knock Florios job.
100+ MPH is a serious offense, aka, reckless driving, or if he hit someone, attempted vehicular homicide, or if he killed someone vehiclular homicide.
You say that you dont like reading topics about speeding tickets, then dont read them, and if you do, dont waste your time and mine making a comment about them.

So he is looking at 4800 miles divided by 103 miles per hour as his jail sentence, if found guilty/convicted.
By my math that is 46.601941747572815533980582524272 hours of jail time. Mike, couldn’t you say 48 hours or two days?
There should be a days without a turd story counter on the website.

Don’t scare me with headlines like that. Speeding? Who cares. If you really need to write a story about Albert comment on how he looks like the early defensive player of the year. He is the centerpiece of a D yet to surrender a loss.
