Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner is off to a great start this season, but early in today’s game against the Jets, Warner’s old nemesis — an injured throwing hand — appeared to return.
During the Cardinals’ first offensive drive, Warner looked like he hit his hand on his follow-through on a pass, and he grabbed it and winced afterward.
Warner is throwing the ball well, but the hand could be impairing his ability to grip the ball: Later on the first drive, he fumbled when Jets defensive end Shaun Ellis hit him.
Through 10 minutes of play, the Jets and Cardinals are in a scoreless tie. You can follow the action at the NFL.com Game Center.

The old I hurt my hand trick. I am glad he stil remembers it. Look around for camera, grimace, and shake and hold hand. Repeat as needed.
