A league source tells us that Cardinals receiver Anquan Boldin did not suffer a neck injury in the final minute of Sunday’s 56-35 loss to the Jets.
Boldin was taken from the field on a stretcher. He apparently was only knocked out.
Per the source, Boldin has full use of his extremities.

Hopefully, when he comes to, he won’t die of shock from the realization that he plays for the Cardinals.

That’s great news. On the flip side, I sincerely hope that there is a fine and suspension coming for Eric Smith. That’s one of the worst offenses I can remember as far as leading with the helmet. I can’t question his character, but it sure appeared that there was some intent to injure, and there’s just no excuse for that type of play.

Having been to both Arizona and Jersey numerous times I feel confident in saying that just about any rational person would choose to live in Arizona over that glorified landfill also known as Jersey. Pound for pound, the Cards are still a better team than the Jets. And going into this game Boldin was cleaning up every member of the Jets recieving corps in stats. Probably still is even afterward.
