The official Wednesday injury report didn’t include information for the Raiders and Chargers, because practice was not complete for either team (damn that Pacific time zone) when the report was released.
We’ve received the report for both teams from the Chargers’ media relations staff, and there are plenty of injured Chargers and Raiders listed on it.
For the Raiders, those not participating included cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha (elbow), defensive end Derrick Burgess (tricep), guard Cooper Carlisle (ankle), running back Justin Fargas (groin), running back Darren McFadden (toe), cornerback Stanford Routt (ankle), tackle Seth Wand (knee), and defensive tackle Gerard Warren (pectoral).
For the Chargers, guard Kris Dielman (thigh), tight end Antonio Gates (hip), center Jeremy Newberry (knees), running back LaDainian Tomlinson (toe), and defensive tackle Jamal Williams (knee) did not practice.

As long as Cromartie and the rest of the defense is healthy, LT and Gates could take a few days off from practice. The raiders are a lot better than what they were last year but I see momentum has a lighting bolt on his helmet now.

newb and wall don’t practice cause their knees are too messed up to use them in non gametime
as for gates and LT, well they have lingering injuries and are 2 days removed from their last game, so this is basically a tuesday in a normal game week.
as for dielman that’s baffling, maybe that’s a new injury

To Charger17:
One win does not constitute momentum! What constitutes momentum is the better team beating down a lesser team and playing the teams that are better than you, tough. Chargers are the better team and should handle the Raiders (even though it is divisional),no problem. But if the Raiders play lights out, watch how fast that momentum flys out the window…

To SgtRoc.
The Chargers will handle the Raiders. They will shut them down because the Raiders O-Line will not be able to contain the front 7 of the Boltz. As for playing the good teams tough, week 1 they played the Panthers who are going to win their division and they lost on a last second pass. Week 2 they played in Denver while having an injured secondary. Due to a bad call by the Ref, they lost that game as well with 14 seconds remaining.
See you in Tampa my friend.
