Said Chargers RB LaDainian Tomlinson, “We were going to do what we had to do to win this game. We needed this bad. If we lost this game, we go 0-3 and I don’t know what’s going to happen. For us to get that first win, there is a sigh of relief.”
Tomlinson ran for only a 2.6-yard average, with 67 yards on 26 carries.
Jets QB Brett Favre has never won a game in which his team trailed by at least 14 points.
Said Favre afterward, “I feel better with the offense. There are no excuses from my end tonight to say that I’m still learning the offense.”
Chargers defensive coordinator Ted Cottrell told his players before the game that they weren’t pulling their weight.
Said Chargers QB Philip Rivers, “It was fun, a fun night. Thinking back 10, 12 years, watching him on TV, then you’re playing a game against [Favre], talking to him before the game. It was fun to be out there on the same field with him.”
Chargers CB Antonio Cromartie is showing that he’s a prime time player.
The Jets’ flaws are obvious to anyone who watches them play.
Jets coach Eric Mangini is facing increased scrutiny.

Brett Favre and the Packers beat Seattle in the playoffs last year after trailing by more than 14pts. That info is incorrect.

Except of course for the Seahawks playoff game last year, 14-0 in the first quarter… did the Packers use a different quarterback for that game?

“Jets QB Brett Favre has never won a game in which his team trailed by at least 14 points.”
Except for last year’s post-season game against the Seahawks.
That said, it was such a lambasting after 14-0, I can understand why it may not be counted as a ‘game’

A sideline reporter caught this exchange on the sideline:
LT: “Coach, my toe is killing me, I don’t think I can go back in, I can barely walk.”
Norv T.: “Don’t worry about it, Sproles just got us to the goal line.”
LT: “Oh… What I meant was that I’m feeling alot better.”

Jets coach Mangina is a huge Rat. Good luck finding a new job after you get fired. Everyone in New England knew you weren’t head coaching material.
You back-stab a dynasty, you get put in your place. That’s how it works. This is the hard knocks.

Who’s the statistician who wrote that Favre has never won when trailing by 14 points because it’s not only wrong, but his very FIRST win, he was trailing by 14 points. Packers were down 17-3 to the Bengals before he brought them back to win 24-23.

Grow up. The Patriots apparently got caught doing something that they shouldn’t have been doing, LAST YEAR. Instead of you acting like an adult and holding your beloved Patriots accountable, you blame somebody else for the problem. It is always somebody else, heaven forbid you hold the Patriots accountable for doing anything wrong. You will go far with that attitude. Stop being a Patriots enabler. Not only does it make you sound like a tool, it also makes you sound like a spoiled brat, and nothing more than a bandwagon fan..

I don’t like who Cromartie is turning into. I hate showboating. It is beyond obnoxious and ridiculous. I am a huge Charger fan. I don’t like to see that type of behavior coming from a team that I support.

Big ass Foster Grants. Now that’s some funny sh*t.
I don’t care if he caught the Steeler’s video tappig a game, he’s the league rat and no one would hire him as a coach. He broke the code of silence between coaches.
He’s a fat pig who needs to add some fruit and veggies to his diet along with 8 glasses of water a day.
