For the Minnesota Vikings, it’s mixed news on injuries.
Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that while the Vikings will wait until after pre-game warm-ups before making a final decision, they are hoping and expecting that running back Adrian Peterson will play. Peterson, who has 263 yards on 48 carries through two games this season, is listed as questionable with a hamstring injury.
The Vikings host the Carolina Panthers in a game that is about as close as a Week 3 game can get to a must-win, and as quarterback Gus Frerotte takes the reins, it’s a mixed bag at wide receiver.
Schefter reports that wide receiver Sidney Rice, who sprained his right posterior cruciate ligament last weekend against the Colts, is out. But wide receiver Bernard Berrian, who has been hampered by a toe injury, will play.

They just announced that Peterson IS going to play. Thank goodness because Colin Cowherd on ESPN Radio had been banging on Peterson for not “sucking it up” *rolls eyes*
