Said Bills coach Dick Jauron of QB Trent Edwards,  “Not only did he take us down when he had to, but he also took us down in the midst of the heat. We don’t know how good he can be, but he gives us a chance.”

Bills LT Jason Peters was beaten for a sack that forced Edwards to fumble, setting up a Jaguars field goal.

That sack aside, Edwards said he was surprised by the lack of pressure the Jaguars brought.

Said Bills WR James Hardy of making the game-winning touchdown catch, “I just wanted to go up and make the play. Trent put it in the right spot and I just wanted to be able to come down with the ball and I was able to do that.”

The Bills held the Jaguars to just two conversions on 11 third-down attempts.

Bills RB Fred Jackson had seven catches for 83 yards.

The Jaguars aren’t feeling good about being 0-2.

Said Jaguars TE Marcedes Lewis after the game, “I can’t stand losing. I can barely get through this interview. … This is ridiculous.”

Asked about the Jaguars’ game plan, MLB Mike Peterson said, “I can’t question it. It’s not my position to question it. I just play. I wish I could question it but I’d be on the way out the door.”

Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said QB David Garrard made a bad decision on his interception.
