The Detroit Lions performed the same old Detroit Lions in the first half of their home opener against the Packers.
Falling behind 21-0 after losing to the lowly Falcons a week ago in Georgia, it looked like it would be another year of shortages on brown paper bags in the greater Detroit Metropolitan Area.
But then something happened. The Lions woke up, and they currently lead the Packers, 25-24.
Midway through the fourth quarter, it’s Detroit 25, Packers 24.
The star thus far has been second-year wideout Calvin Johnson, who has six catches for 129 yards and two touchdowns.
