The Steelers’ resounding 38-17 win over the Houston Texans has been tempered, a bit. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger emerged from the game with a sore shoulder.
“He’s just a little sore,” coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday at his weekly press conference.
Still, Roethlisberger could be limited this week in practice.
Also injured are left tackle Marvel Smith (groin) and cornerback Deshea Townsend (heel). Both are expected to be limited in practice, but all three are expected to play on Sunday night against the Browns.

I watched the entire Hou/Pit game. I should report that his arm must be tired after throwing all of those complete passes for touchdowns. I am certain that Ward’s legs are tired as well.

Roethlisberger is not exciting, but he is extraordinarily efficient. If he stays healthy, Roethlisberger is going to have a Bart Starr kind of career…several Super Bowls and then into the Hall Of Fame.

I watched the entire Hou/Pit game.”
Why? That game was over shortly after the national anthem. If the Steelers had not pulled their defensive starters the Texans would still not have seen the Pittsburgh end zone, much less crossed into it.
