Every year, the Detroit Lions are predicted by many to be on the right path, for a change.
And, every year, the Lions prove that they aren’t.
The Lions are losing 21-0 to the Falcons, who were one of the worst teams in the league last year. And free-agent tailback Michael Turner already has scored two touchdowns.
Turner has gained 117 yards on seven carries.

Please, oh please, let the Detroit Lions keep the same people keep managing the team. We can use all the easy wins we can get.

This means:
1. I’m stoked I started Michael Turner on my fantasy team!
2. The Lions will have to throw to another one of my starters, Calvin Johnson!

Easy Florio…it’s the 1st quarter of the first game of the season. I know you have a lot resentment for Michigan teams and your precious Mountaineers got exposed for the posers that they are yesterday, so you’re a little grumpy today, but Detroit can score three touchdowns in a game. Besides, Atlanta is their own worst enemy in this game.

Fantasy tip for the remainder of the season: start your running back(s) if playing Detroit’s “defense”.
