Despite several weeks of zipped lips regarding the status of Colts quarterback Peyton Manning and his surgically-removed bursa sac, Manning is on track to start in Sunday night’s regular-season opener against the Bears.
Manning has been listed on the final injury report as probable, which means that he’s almost certain to play.
Sunday’s game, nationally televised on NBC and streamed live on NFL.com, will be the first regular-season contest at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Crap! As both a Badgers and Bears fan… I wanted to see Sorgi. I knew it wasn’t going to happen, but now all hope for a miracle has disappeared.
