QB Vince Young left the game against the Packers after he struck his hand on a helmet, but he is fine.
From the “Someone Didn’t Get The Memo That Starters Don’t Play Much If At All In The Last Game Of The Preseason” file, Young threw 27 passes before leaving.
From that same file, RB LenDale White carried 16 times for 55 yards.
The Titans notched six sacks against the Packers.
S Vincent Fuller scored on a fake punt.
LB Keith Bulluck (calf) didn’t play, but he filled in for Eddie George on the WKRN-TV telecast.
K Rob Bironas (groin) didn’t play, but he nailed a 52-yard field goal during warmups.
The Titans gained more than 400 yards against the Packers.

Hey Florio Fisher has let the starters go into the 3rd quarter of the final preseason for the past three years so stick to reporting the facts and enough with the sarcasm.

Tennessee does this every single year to us at the end of the preseason. Last year, McCarthy pulled Favre and Co. after they drove down the field for the first touchdown, but at the cost of losing Noah Herron for the year towards the end of the drive.
Meanwhile, Jeff Fisher does this to get his starters ready and mentally prepared. We know it’s preseason, but that’s one of Jeff Fisher’s methods, and he’s been an excellent coach, so I won’t question his ways.
And, Vince Young needs as much practice as possible. The cold hard truth: the guy sucks as a passer.

If you people don’t like the Titans and just want to be retarded and post negative stuff, why do you even bother? Dont you have something better to do with your time? I guess you all are the losers that each have 10 fantasy football teams, but know absolutely nothing about football besides reading stats. Right? Makes no sense.

I couldn’t be a fan of a team that calls a FAKE PUNT in the pre-season. Talk about desperation! Vince Young at QB?!? Titans are looking at 4 wins this season — and that includes a gimme at the end of the year.

@ VYera10,
As for myself, I have a life, I don’t play fantasy football, but it only takes a few seconds to grace you with my expert opinion. Trust me, I’ve forgotten more about football than you’ll ever know. Stop being so sensitive. If I was wrong about VY sucking, you wouldn’t have posted what you posted.

That previous post is ridiculous … Fish called that fake punt to give Del Rio a little something extra to think about going into next week … it is called strategy … I love people who don’t have a friggin’ clue … AND, we’ll have your predicted 4 wins by the 2nd week of October at the latest you friggin’ jack …

Yes, Del Rio would never have suspected a fake punt — EVER — without that little pre-season gem called by “Fish”. Now, instead of preparing for that Vince Young Mega-O, Jax will be spending all week working on fake punts. He won’t be able to sleep all week. “Whatever you do, don’t let TN get into a 4th down…” he’s busy telling his D. Sheesh!
