S Ko Simpson was the only starter to play for the Bills in their loss to the Lions.

Gibran Hamdan got the start at quarterback and completed 18 of 26 passes for 158 yards.

Rookie Leodis McKelvin looked good on kickoff returns.
CB Ashton Youboty had a strong game in pass coverage and added a sack.

McKelvin fielded two kicks inside his own 10 yard line that both eventually resulted in safeties. Great moves, but he’s made some terrible decisions too. So “looked good” is pretty generous.

Yeah, they were both horrible decisions. Hopefully he won’t be pulling that crap once the season starts.
I don’t know about McKelvin. Whenever I see him in an interview, he just sounds SO DUMB. Like he can barely string together a sentence.

Weren’t those both punts that he botched? I heard he did fine on kickoffs, just not punts.
