One of the things we’ve learned about Adam “Pacman” Jones in the last couple of years is that he spends a lot of time at strip clubs, and that trouble seems to follow him when he’s there.
So it’s good to know that Jones has now started spending his time at establishments where the female employees wear a bit more clothing.
Jones was at Hooters when he got the phone call informing him that his suspension is over, Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News reports.
Jones told Watkins, “It feels good man, you know, to get a second chance and I just have to take advantage of it. First and foremost, I don’t want to let myself down, definitely my little girl down. I’m thankful for Jerry [Jones], the fans in Dallas and my teammates for believing in me. I need to keep doing what I’ve been doing to get reinstated staying with myself and my teammates and staying away from those knuckleheads and just stay focused.”
The “knuckleheads” Jones refers to are apparently the circle of friends who have been blamed by some for the off-field trouble Jones has gotten into. A lot of that trouble has happened in and around strip clubs. Hopefully there are no “knuckleheads” at Hooters.

if my friend shot and killed somebody outside a strip club I could picture myself hopping in the limo yelling at the driver GO! GO! GO!…then turning to my friend and saying, you know what…you’re such a knucklehead!

You don’t want your kids to fall in “with the wrong crowd” or have friends who are “bad influences.”
Sometimes, though, the wrong crowd who are bad influences is YOUR kid.
That’s what I thought of when Pacman said it was the knuckleheads’ faults.

Translation - It feels good to be able to get away with it and still be rich and famous.

If he was a real man, he would have made it rain money to celebrate.
And I wouldn’t call this his “second chance.” Seems he’s been in trouble more than once.

At Hooter’s?!?! That place stinks of busted women and bad food! Why not hit the local smut shop and head home? I guess he really enjoys live entertainment.
Anyhow, give this knucklehead time and he will be back out of the league. Permanently.

For everyone saying he is getting special treatment because he is a Cowboy, the fact is he served over a year suspension and is in a good situation.
As much as I hate Jerry and the Cowboys, they seem to be able to take trouble makers and keep them clean. Surely that helped Goodell’s decision, but don’t pretend it’s because Jerry controls Goodell. Having a team of people around him working to keep him behaving could have a big affect. And there is nothing Goodell would like more than to see Pacman turn it around. Seeing that thug players can change if they commit to it and have people help them would be huge for the league and its image.
That said, I still think Pacman will get in more trouble, because he is an idiot.
