CBS 4 in Denver reports that Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall’s suspension has been reduced from two games to one game.
Instead, Marshall will be suspended one game and fined an additional paycheck for his violation of the Personal Conduct Policy.
Recent reports suggested optimism within the organization that the suspension would be reduced.
Marshall is on track to becoming one of the top receivers in the league, especially with quarterback Jay Cutler seemingly poised to come of age in his third NFL season.

Fits the latest pattern from Roger G’s office. I hope Brandon has learned something from this. My guess is his mentor Rod Smith will be very close to Brandon for a while in the future.

And while he is at it..GODell should also make Tank Johnson…The Secretary of Defense……After all, this is a man who taught his pre-schoolers the difference between little tykes toys and armor piercing bullets

At least he taught his kids something. Can’t say the same for Andy Reid, can you?

Nice try bozo..but i believe Reid’s adult children getting in trouble doesn’t compare with leaving guns and ammo around pre-schoolers..But hey…If it’ the same to you…..so be it

I am not going to defend Marshall acting like a moron, but he has yet to be actually convicted of anything. Comparing him to Tank Johnson and/or Chris Henry is a bit of a stretch.

“Nice try bozo..but i believe Reid’s adult children…”
IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT YOU BELIEVE. You obviously believe that the problems started when treedledum and treedledumber got busted. Typical Eagles fan. The judge described Reid’s house as a “drug emporium”. I guess you believe that it became a drug emporium only recently? Naah, those kids have been engaging in “monkey see, monkey do” their entire lives. What a great example Andy set!
You be sure to let me know next time some court even just says that Tank Johnson ever put any children in danger, let alone convicts him of reckless endangerment, mmm’k? Then maybe we’ll compare him to the drug-addled simpletons that Andy Reid sired. They put everyone in their vicinity in danger with their crap. Thx and have a nice day.

Hopefully he can keep his nose clean from here on out, because the guy is an incredible talent on the field.

Amen…Rod made some mistakes involving volatile relationships early in his career, and he turned himself around and became one of the best role models in all of sports. He is the perfect role model for Marshall.

I am glad Goodell did the right thing. Maybe Brandon will stay clean now. Now we will beat San Diego week 2. Here’s to Brandon blocking Shawne Steriodman and shattering his knee. Oops, I mean here’s to victory.

Marshall is incredible talent but it doesn’t mean they will beat the Chargers. The Broncos D-Line has failed to put pressure on the QB for what seems to be ages now. However, they have seemed to improve their run stopping game after finishing 30th in the league in that category. The game will be a better matchup with a playmaker like Marshall in the game but that Denver D has its work cut out for them.
