Childress made that comment about who would start the last preseason game, not who he would keep. You are better than that MDS I would expect that from Florio.

Hey Jonathan Stewart, you DO NOT ARRIVE in preseason games of your rookie season. We all can appreciate confidence, however the only arrival made is that you were with the team when they got to game!

“The Eagles may open the regular season without their starting receiver tandem.”
I don’t think there is anything “may” about this. Curtis will not be playing until at LEAST November, and even that is doubtful. The question really is if Brown plays. If Brown did play and Basket started for Curtis, that still wouldn’t be the “starting receiver tandem”.

If things were going really well, you would be playing the late in a game when the Jets have blown out their opponent.
Think positively, son!
