QB Brady Quinn generated only two field goals in six possessions.

Quinn was knocked down several times, but never officially sacked.

Said Quinn of his performance:  “I’m disappointed.  I didn’t throw as well as I liked today and it didn’t go as well as I would have liked.  My role is to jump in and make it as if nothing’s changed.  That’s something I’m going to have to do a better job of as this year goes along.”

The Detroit crowd booed former Lions DT Shaun Rogers, who now plays for the Browns.

Rogers took it in stride; “They’re Detroit fans and if they’re not rooting for the home team, what are they doing here? . . .  I don’t play for the Lions anymore, I play for the Browns.  If I played for the Lions, I’d be a little disappointed, but I don’t.”

With one more loss, the Browns will have their first winless preseason since 1972.

RB Jason Wright says there’s a sense of urgency for the team to turn things around.

WR Kevin Kasper left with head and neck injuries.

WR Syndric Steptoe averaged more than 25 yards on six kick returns.

K Phil Dawson made another field goal of longer than 50 yards.

Dawson, Rogers, and S Nick Sorensen got game balls from the team’s official web site.
