Redskins defensive end Jason Taylor went down with a knee injury on Saturday night against the Panthers.
According to Adam Schefter of NFL Network, Taylor suffered no ligament damage. He was examined by Dr. James Andrews, who happened to be at the game.
Taylor reportedly screamed in pain after getting caught in a pile up. He walked off the field on his own, but he put little pressure on his right leg.

Washington 3 - Charlotte 47. Jason Taylor…. Hmmmm I seem to remember a Jason who played for the Dolphins. Is the is the same guy? I hope he feels better soon. Hey did anybody catch the Miami game tonight where the Dolphins defense shut out KC?

The greatest Dolphin defender was John Offerdahl(no relation)…to the article or me. With Tippett in Offerdahl has a shot.

Technically, Merriman’s knee is “sprained” too…sprain means slightly torn ligament. He could be back in 3 weeks or done for good.

The title of the post and the contents don’t match. A sprain is defined as any tearing of a ligament, whether it be partial or complete. If he doesn’t have any ligament damage, it must be something else, like a bruise.

They seriously need to increase the camp roster limits. There have been too many injuries to key guys this offseason.

KC and Atl have to be the worst teams this year, but I think with what the Tuna has cooking in South Beach they could climb out of that 1-15 hole very quickly!
Pennington 10 of 15 for 94 and a TD.
The Fish D managed 5 Sacks, yep, 5 SACKS and 3 Int’s without Thomas or Taylor.

i guess this hurts his chances at a sequel for dancing with the stars, plus he has to put on his b.s. acting career on hold, i guess that silent football player role will wait another year.

Have a feeling that the ‘Skins won’t get it done this year.
Every other year they have and overhaul on Offense, Defense or both.
This year it’s both.
Tough for a veteran like Taylor to get caught up in that.
