As good as Ryan Grant looked in last season’s preseason for the Giants, he was not even close to the performance of Danny Ware in this year’s preseason so far and practice. Ware also was on Giants roster for last year’s playoffs, Grant never had been on Giants roster the previous years trying out with the team. Ware is 230 pounds and much younger the Droughns and can also play special teams. Giants GM Reese has been stressing youth and Ware is now in a better spot than Droughns to secure a spot on the team.

I bet the Dolphins are feeling frustrated that they aren’t able to get rid of Porter because of his contract.

The Giants need to stop dumping young up and coming talent in favor of these old injury prone relics.
I say keep Jacobs, Bradshaw and Ware….Dump Droughns and Ward.

I love the quote that the Browns players were playing like were trying to get the coaches fired. It certainly looked like that in the first quarter. They’ll be fine though.

@Jolly
Agree for the most part, except I like Ward. Relics? The oldest one of that bunch is Droughns at 30! I say dump him, and stash Ware on special teams.

It was Ryan Grant who was injured his previous 2 years trying out for the Giants or climbing a hill!
Giants kept 4 RBs on roster all last season. Ward was having an outstanding year when he got hurt in late season in Chicago. Made Giant fans forget about Tiki.
