Five members of the Cleveland Browns were injured on Monday night against the Giants.
Apparently, none of them will play in the next preseason game against the Lions.
Quarterback Derek Anderson (concussion), receiver/kick returner Joshua Cribbs (high ankle sprain), running back Jamal Lewis (hamstring), safety Brodney Pool (concussion), and linebacker Willie McGinest (groin) missed practice Wednesday.
Coach Romeo Crennel said that it’s likely that each will miss the game.

We’ll see what the kid Quinn can do as he should get 3 quarters with the first team on Saturday vs. the Lions.

I’m having trouble breathing. How can this happen again with the injuries? What football god did the fans of Cleveland piss off? I will be holding an AFC North sacrifice to try and reverse this series of unfortunate events. The sacrifice will consist of SanQuentin Holmes’ parternity test results, a lockett of T.J WhosYourMomma’s ponytail, and Knee cartlidge Willis Mcgahee left on the field during the Fiesta Bowl in ‘03. If this dosen’t do the trick I am open to suggestions.

I think this is a major cover-up. Rumor has that Crennel accidently sat on several players last week.

If you look around the league, there are probably 10-15 teams with atleast 8-10 guys out right now. Cleveland fans need to get over the “woe is me” mind set when it comes to injuries. Be thankful these things are happening in the pre-season.
Thats what pre-season is for anyway, to see what the back ups can do (I.E who’s making the squad). Expect Quinn to do well, thats what first round blue chip guys are supposed to do. I’m just guessing here, but I think thats why the Browns did what they did… have two good QB’s not one, so if there is an injury, theres not much of a drop off?? Not many teams in the league have that luxury.

@JohnsonburgBacker44
Dude, when you bring up Mcgahee’s injury, you need to include a link to the video. It’s standard PFT protocol.
