Eyebrows raised earlier in the day when news broke that the agent for former Falcons receiver Joe Horn reached out to the Miami Dolphins, given that Horn recently said he wants to play for a Super Bowl contender.

As it turns out, the Dolphins weren’t alone.

Per Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald, Horn’s agent has contacted every team.  (Except the one that just, you know, cut him.)

And while the Fins apparently are one of the Horn’s handful of preferred teams, the Dolphins have yet to contact Horn about a possible contract.

Other teams on Horn’s wish list are the Cowboys, Titans, Jaguars, and Rams.  Horn hopes to land with a new team in the next three or four days.

And as a league insider observed, the Falcons probably opted to move Horn now because his $2.5 million guaranteed salary for 2008 likely will be reduced by any salary he earns elsewhere.
