Here’s a blow-by-blow of Brett Favre’s first drive with the Jets, who won the toss in their game against the Redskins.

First play — a 12-yard strike to Jerricho Cotchery.

Next play, a five-yard loss on a pitch to Leon Washington.

Play-action, and a 10-yard strike to tight end Chris Baker from Favre.

Shotgun formation on third and five.  Pass is complete to Leon Washington, but he’s tackled short of the sticks.

The Jets are going for it on fourth and short from their own 40.

Thomas Jones plows ahead for a first down.

Jones, on first down, gains a few more yards.

From shotgun formation, Favre is smushed by Marcus Washington and Cornelius Griffin.

Incomplete swing pass on third down, and the Jets will punt.

In all, Favre was three-for-four for 21 yards, with one sack.  The Jets notched two first downs.
