When the Miami Dolphins played the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday night, quarterback Chad Pennington got the start, and Chad Henne relieved him.

But neither of the other two guys — Josh McCown and John Beck — played.

The move suggests to us that the Fins already know which of the two is staying and which is going.  Otherwise, they surely would have given both of them some reps in order to help make the decision.

It’s believed that Beck will be traded or cut, and that McCown will stay, primarily since McCown was brought in by the current regime, and Beck was drafted by the last one.
