QB Trent Edwards looked sharp in a win over the Steelers in Toronto.

TE Robert Royal caught two touchdown passes.

Said head coach Dick Jauron, “It was really a great way for us to start with our offense moving the ball against what we think is a real good football team. It was a terrific start for us here in Toronto.”

The announced crowd of 48,434 seemed genuinely excited.

According to one account, the game was about 5,000 shy of a sellout.

But plenty of tickets were given away.

“We’re very excited just in the fact that we feel we improved off last week’s performance,” Edwards said.

Rookie CB Leodis McKelvin gave the Bills their last score with a 95-yard kickoff return touchdown.

But on defense and returning punts, McKelvin looked like a rookie.

DE Chris Kelsay flushed Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger out of the pocket, leading to a hurried throw that was tipped by FS Ko Simpson and intercepted by SS Donte Whitner.
