Saints defensive tackle Hollis Thomas, who left practice on Thursday with an arm injury, has a torn triceps. He’ll miss two months.
Thomas suffered the injury during one-on-one pass-rushing drills.
The 12-year veteran joined the Saints in 2006 after spending a decade with the Eagles. He started 14 games for the Saints in 2007.
Thomas is listed as a backup to Kendrick Clancy on the team’s depth chart.

Hollis probably isn’t an every-down DT anymore, but the guy can really stop the run in situations. I think he might end up being a significant loss to their run defense, especially in the 4th quarter. They better hope someone steps up and fills his shoes.

Hollis is a really comical dude, and a good dude. We miss him here in Philly. If you ever see video of him doing behind the scenes and locker room coverage, he will have you cracking up.
The Eagles spent a couple of years trying to fill up the middle of the D-Line after he left too.
We all probably wish him well except for the couple of times a year when he might face the Eagles……. Get well soon, Hollis.
GO EAGLES!!!!

Our D needs as much help as it can get, and even though Hollis is not a starter, its still a big blow.

I know he didn’t teat his triceps pushing himself away from the dinner table.
