Despite reports that Eagles guard Shawn Andrews has been cleared to return to the team and that he would be on the practice field on Sunday morning, it’s Sunday morning and Andrews isn’t on the Eagles’ practice field.

According to Bob Brookover of the Philadelphia Inquirer, a team spokesman said that Andrews isn’t with the team, and that coach Andy Reid will address the situation later today.

Also in Philly, cornerback Asante Samuel practiced for the first time since July 26, when he suffered a hamstring injury.  The Eagles also released defensive tackle Kimo von Oelhoffen.
